Sheryl Merritt is founder and Chief Ambassador of Kingdom Atlanta. She has experience in all seven of the cultural influencers – Arts & Entertainment, Religion, Family, Government, Education, Media, and Business. Understanding the call of God upon her life, Kingdom Atlanta is a kingdom assignment she is boldly undertaking.
Who We Are
Kingdom Atlanta is a training, networking and activation experience for diverse citizens who live in Atlanta and are committed to bringing about a Kingdom change to the city through networking, resource sharing and radical ministry. Kingdom Atlanta is all about applying Kingdom principles, utilizing Kingdom people, operating in Kingdom unity and power to provide solutions to Atlanta’s challenges. Kingdom Atlanta is a 9-month program that takes place annually. Our goal is to help members transform Atlanta for the Kingdom of God and lead others into the Kingdom way of life.
Kingdom Atlanta has five distinct directives:
* Form strategic alliances
* Build a kingdom culture
* Identify gateways
* Realign resources
* Develop diplomats
The training also encompasses spiritual gifts training and activation, identifying your service mark (Jesus Mark), caring for the less fortunate, operating in your seven mountain sphere of influence, and participating in radical ministry.

Kingdom Atlanta is located in metro Atlanta, Georgia.
Our Purpose
The primary purpose of Kingdom Atlanta is to transform the city using Kingdom principles as we operate fully in the believer’s advantage. Through an aggressive training and alliance program, we equip our members to impact the city through various endeavors, opportunities and through their everyday lives, and the lives of those in their circle and with whom they have influence. Ultimately, our city will experience positive, transformative change.
Why Now?
Why not now? The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand and if we don’t get in gear to help bring it about as we have been directed by the prayer, “As it is in heaven, so it is in the earth,” then our city, the place over which we have the most direct influence, will continue to be less than it was created to be. Atlanta, a city that rose from the ashes like the phoenix, once home to the civil rights movement has transitioned to an entertainment, education and technology mecca. Powerful businesses make Atlanta their headquarters. Industries are planted here. Movements and trends are formed here and it is time to become the trendsetters that God created us to be.
Our Product
Kingdom Atlanta is a leadership experience for interested and selected individuals. Because the Kingdom is about doing, most of our work will be done in the field (city) and practically in application with the group. High-level engagement is required. Our curriculum covers key trainings to lead our ambassadors in Kingdom transformation activities, activations and alliances as we tackle the city’s biggest challenges.
When
Kingdom Atlanta’s first session will begin Fall of 2019.

Why Me Statement
I am a native Atlantan who loves this city. My family is deeply rooted in Atlanta. My mother is a retired educator for the Atlanta Public Schools, of which I am a product. I attended Northside High School of the Performing Arts where I studied dance and developed my love of the arts. My father was a successful engineering manager at AT&T.
Having a firm foundation in Christ, I studied how much He emphasized the Kingdom of God/Heaven. I have studied the seven mountains of culture and have been interested in how we can transform the city for the Kingdom. Through my years of working in various entities, corporate, entertainment and ministry, and being heavily involved in and around the educational system, I have experienced first-hand the many ways this can be accomplished. Having worked in non-traditional ministry roles (record label, ministry outreach to women in the sex industry), helped me recognize that church as usual is not enough to accomplish this goal. Pushing myself to get training and activation in the gifts of the spirit – most notably, the gift of prophecy, shifted my mindset even more to what it will take. Further, my ability to recognize the distinctive service characteristic those in and out of ministry possess, makes me a natural (and supernatural leader) to lead the charge.
